This series aims to show the depth of expression in art that goes beyond monetary gain or public fame. In this first episode, we invite Curtis Johnson (@artcujo). Curtis, an educator and artist based in Atlanta, offers a look into his journey as an artist. He was a former student-athlete from Sewanee: The University Of The South while also being involved in the visual arts. We talk about the dichotomy between athletics and art, his start as a print artist, and what is the true value of art.
